The Rev. Monica Butler, Campus Chaplain
Pastor Monica Butler leads the Bread+Belonging Campus Ministry partnership between St. Aidan's and Lutheran Campus Ministry (LCM). Pr. Monica is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary (M.Div) and holds degrees in Art History from the University of Colorado, Boulder (B.A.) and the University of California, Davis (M.A.). She served as The Rev. Dr. John S. Damm Pastoral Intern at Saint Peter’s Church, New York City, and has worked with campus and parish ministries in Northern Colorado. Before seminary, she taught community college art history and worked in education at art museums in Santa Fe, NM, and San Francisco, CA.
Pr. Monica is committed to cultivating communities of courage, faith, and belonging that embody God’s transforming love in the world. She is passionate about connecting sacred stories to the realities of our lives and nurturing leadership and authentic relationships among young adults. She loves road cycling, making giant pots of soup, and curling up with a good novel.
The Rev. Mary Kate Réjouis, Rector
The Rev. Mary Kate Rejouis came to St. Aidan’s in 2005. Prior to that, she served as the Vicar of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Basalt, Colorado from 2000 to 2005 and as Associate Rector and Priest-in-Charge at St. Michael and All Angels, South Bend, Indiana. She was ordained to the Diaconate and Priesthood in 1997.
A native of Boulder, M. Mary Kate finds St. Aidan’s to be a place of really joyful ministry among the parish, with so many who have been part of the very early years of St. Aidan’s since its founding in 1948 and also in the Canterbury Episcopal Ministry. Campus ministry is vital to M. Mary Kate, who came through the Episcopal Campus ministry at Dartmouth College. She’s hoping to get back to swimming and running soon and mostly enjoys spending time with her two middle school-age children.
The Rev. Amanda Barker, Curate
The Rev. Amanda Barker is St. Aidan’s Curate (assisting clergy), starting her ordained ministry in July 2024. She was St.A’s seminarian intern from 2022 to 2024. She received her M.Div. from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific (CDSP) in May 2024.
Amanda lives in Boulder with her husband, Aaron, and two step-children. Her background is in the nonprofit world, advocating for land conservation policy and historic preservation education. She is a proud returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Madagascar, 2005-2008). Amanda spends her free time discovering more about this speck of land in the universe. She’s currently learning about the birds across seasons in her backyard. She also loves being in the kitchen, reading, and traveling to new places and to her favorite people.
Miho Raabe, Hospitality Manager
Miho Raabe serves as the Hospitality Manager for Bread+Belonging. Before she started working at St. Aidan’s Miho ran her own cooking website called Classy Cooking. As the hospitality manager, her role is to create recipes and prepare dinner for Bread + Belonging each week, as well as welcome students into the community. In her spare time, Miho enjoys photography and traveling.
The support and leadership of the St. Aidan’s staff are vital to our ministry partnership.
